Before Your First Lesson
Waiver
All students (or legal guardian if the student is a minor) are required to sign a waiver before the start of a lesson. Our focus is on maintaining a safe and family-oriented environment!
Make Sure You Have the Proper Attire
For your safety and to get the most out of your lesson, we require closed-toe shoes (a 1in. heel is highly recommended), long pants, and a helmet.
The Full Experience
Lessons are about more than just riding, we also teach our students how to care for the horse, such as brushing, picking their hooves, tacking/untacking. Make sure you arrive 15 minutes early!

Why lease a horse?
Leasing a horse has so many benefits. You not only get to ride more, but you have the opportunity to bond and progress with that horse. Typically, the horse you are leasing will be available to show if you so chose, but if you are only interested in pleasure riding that’s fine too! GMC Farm has several horses available for lease to accommodate all types of riders.
